On 9 July 2024, the 47-metre Sailing (Perini Navi) Yacht “TAMARITA” stranded on Panagia Reef, off Paxoi Island, Ionian Sea, Greece with significant listing to port side and water ingress. This is an environmentally sensitive area, included in the Natura 2000 network with Europe’s most valuable habitats.

On May 3, 2024, the 30-meter Cantieri Navali Rizzardi motor yacht “WHY” found itself grounded on a beach and collided with a pier in Spetses island, Greece, amidst strong winds. This unfortunate event led to a breach in the yacht’s hull, causing water ingress.
