On 3 July 2021, the tug CHRISTOS XXIV, BP 55T, despatched to provide towing assistance to the laden general cargo ship ‘BOTHNIA’, IMO no: 9229087, from open sea in lat. 28–59.9N Long 036–45.3W, where she was adrift, due to a technical problem in the ship’s main engine. On July 8, the tug arrived at the ship’s drifting position whereupon tow connection was established. On July 19, the convoy safely arrived at Las Palmas Grand Canaria, where the ship anchored.
