Megatugs Salvage & Towage: New acquisition – S/T VALIANT 120 TBP

MEGATUGS most recent investment is the purchase of the modern salvage tug VALIANT (IMO No 9477012 DP2 | FIFI I | BHP 10,188 | 120 TBP

The VALIANT arrived in Piraeus port on 5th May 2021 to drydock and undergo Class surveys.

The VALIANT will be renamed AIGAION PELAGOS and will be placed on salvage station in the Aegean Sea with the primary role of offering assistance to vessels in distress, the preservation of human life and the protection of the marine environment.

AIGAION PELAGOS will be the largest and most modern salvage tug in Greece.
